I can't remember the last time I had a milkshake. Actually, I'm pretty sure that I've only had maybe 4 ever. But, we bought a bunch of frozen yogurt on our last shopping trip and rather than make another smoothie, I decided to try out a frozen yogurt milkshake...and make it fat free too.

The first batch I made was a little watery as I used a little too much skim milk and not enough yogurt. I didn't take into account the differences between regular ice cream and frozen yogurt, so I tried it again. The second batch was way better and definitely had the milkshake quality that you get with ice cream. The best part about this recipe is that it is so easy!

I topped mine with Fat Free Reddi-Wip, a few sprinkles, and a strawberry. I thought it came out pretty cute :) Adding Reddi-Wip will increase the calories by a little but won't alter the grams of fat or Points+.

Maybe it will start to get warm again soon so I can enjoy one of these outside. But it probably won't. Gotta love living in New England!

Enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Hood Fat Free Strawberry Frozen Yogurt
  • 1 cup Skim Milk
  • 1 cup sliced Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Optional Toppings: Fat Free Reddi-Wip or Cool Whip, Sprinkles, Strawberry Garnish

In a blender, combine Frozen Yogurt, Milk, Fresh Strawberries, and Vanilla Extract.

Blend until smooth and the strawberries are broken down.

Serve in a glass with your choice of whipped cream, sprinkles, and a strawberry garnish.

Enjoy!
Love, Monica
