Big News! I have decided to start up a side project/business! I have been making cake pops for a little over a year now for friends and family parties and have decided to make a business out of it. After making almost 400 cake pops plus a stand and display for my sister's wedding, I have gotten a few other big orders and decided to make a website that shows a few of the past cake pops and displays that I have made as well as the flavors and pricing that I offer.
All of my cake pops and frostings, including the gluten free varieties that I offer, are made from scratch and dipped in any color chocolate candy coating. They are then decorated with sprinkles, sugar crystals, candy pearls, stripes, marbling, shredded coconut or anything else we can think of. I plan on adding a few other sweet treats to the menu, but for now I am offering a wide variety of cake pops.
I know, I know, this is a complete change from Wicked Yummy which is all about healthy and lightened up foods. But I have always believed that if you cut out your favorite guilty pleasures from your diet, you will set yourself up for disappointment. Weight Watchers is all about portion control- you can still have your favorite sweets, just in moderation. And my lightened up blog is all about making healthy alternatives to your favorite foods. So, naturally, I will be offering a few lower fat varieties of the cake pops and sweet treats at Wicked Yummy Sweets :)
